CHEESEBUN!

Cheesebun! life is full of cheesebun. The first time i heard of such a phrase is from the movie TALKING COCK: THE MOVIE. In the starting sequence of the film, Colin Goh, the founder of TALKING COCK website explains that in that movie, they will replace hokkien rude words like CHEEB*E with CHEESEBUN and LANC**OW with LUNCHBOX. Since then, all my friends and colleagues whom i come to know all use the phrase CHEESEBUN. eg. CHEESBUN lah! work no end one……or my CHEESEBUN bosses……or simple CHEESEBUN!!!!! I am sure the word CHEESEBUN will find its multi-facetted use in your everday use of Singlish.
